Abstract

|
Plasmids are of tirear value as ´material for studying the structure and function of genetic material. Plasmids are also tools for molecular boilogy. In the early experiments, plasmid DNA was isolated as linear molecule. However, with the development of` gentler methods of releasing DNA from cells, several plasmids were shown by electron microscopy
to bu circular molecules. Usually plasmids can be isolated efficiently from normal cells j and purify them by simplified methods.
N´e´e propose a nv)dified method for the isolation. and purification Hof bacterial plasmid
DNA from Escherichia coli x 1776 clones, and we could ba described with several impro- j ved points.
